This is an 8-team round robin curling league played over 7 weeks, beginning January. Each team plays one standard

8-end game per week.

Each team enters with a $500 fee, which includes a starting “pot” of $300. The remaining funds can go toward ice time, prizes, or league costs.

The unique feature of this league is the “Split the Pot” format:

• After each game, the winning team takes half of the losing team’s current pot

• Team pots grow or shrink weekly based on results, creating increasing stakes as the season progresses

At the end of the 7-week round robin, all remaining team pots are paid out in cash.

The schedule will skip weeks that conflict with the Lacombe Farmers, Calumet Men’s, and Usona Men’s bonspiels.

Example:
If two teams each start with $300, the winner takes $150 from the loser. Pots continue to fluctuate weekly depending on match outcomes.
